Hi! I'm Marilyn. I conduct the JKYO and KYO orchestras. Welcome to our rehearsal hall.
Marilyn Chalk has brought a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to music education for over thirty years. She is passionate about music and the youth of our community and enjoys helping them discover their inner “voice” through teaching and conducting. Marilyn is one of the founders of the Junior Kawartha Youth Orchestra and Farm Team, creating the opportunity for non-playing students to learn an instrument and reach their musical potential through the intermediate and senior orchestras! Her vision is to keep KYO alive and vibrant through these challenging times.
